Commercial perimeter security fence at a Howard County business park

Perimeter Work Along the Howard County Corridors

We do a large share of our commercial work along Snowden River Parkway, Dobbin Road, the MD-32 side and the warehouse corridors toward Jessup and Hanover. Commercial fencing is a different job from residential: the spec matters more, the schedule has to fit around an operating business, and the fence usually has to integrate with access control, lighting or a camera line. We quote it as a commercial job, with the submittals and the scheduling that implies, not as a big house.

What we build

What We Build for Businesses

Perimeter security fence

Commercial-grade chain link or ornamental steel at security heights, with the mesh gauge, post diameter and footing spec written into the quote.

Job-site and temporary enclosure

Panel fencing and permanent chain link for active construction sites, with the gates the site actually needs.

Dumpster and equipment corrals

Screened enclosures that satisfy a site plan condition and survive being hit by a truck.

Access-controlled entries

Slide and swing gates with operators, keypads, card readers, intercoms, exit loops and emergency-services access.

Parking, storage and lot fencing

Auto lots, storage yards, contractor yards and equipment compounds.

Institutional and community work

HOA and community perimeter, ball field and court enclosure, school and municipal property.

Decorative commercial frontage

Ornamental aluminum or steel where the fence is on the street face and has to look like part of the building.

For facility managers

How We Work With Property Managers

Commercial work lives or dies on the paperwork and the schedule as much as the build. Here is what you get from us.

  • Written, itemized scope with material specs, gauges and heights stated, so you can compare bids on the same terms.
  • Submittals, product data and drawings where a site plan, tenant fit-out or municipal project requires them.
  • Scheduling around your operation, including staged work so a lot is never fully open overnight.
  • Miss Utility locates and coordination with your other trades before any excavation.
  • Crews that understand a commercial site — OSHA-conscious, badged in where required, cleaned up daily.
  • Repair and maintenance response for existing perimeter after the install is finished.

Security Detailing That Actually Matters

Most of what makes a perimeter secure is not the fence height. It is the bottom edge, the gate hardware, the hinge design, and whether there is anything adjacent that makes the fence climbable. We look at the bottom rail or tension wire so the mesh cannot be lifted, at non-removable hinge pins on out-swinging gates, at the gap at the gate meeting point, and at what is parked or stacked next to the fence line. Those details are cheap at install and expensive to retrofit.

Commercial questions

What Facility Managers Ask Us

Do you provide submittals and product data?

Yes, for projects that require them, along with drawings where the scope calls for it.

Can you work outside business hours?

Often, yes. Tell us the constraint when we scope it and we will price the schedule honestly rather than discovering it later.

Do you handle multi-site or ongoing maintenance?

Yes. We take on maintenance and repair programs across multiple properties for managers who want one number to call.

How is commercial priced differently?

Heavier material, deeper footings, larger gates and more coordination. The quote itemizes each so you can see where the money is going.

Scope Your Commercial Fence Project

Send us the site and the constraint. We will walk it, spec it, and put a written, itemized scope in front of you.
